A large office warehouse complex in the new industrial subdivision at Drury South. This project features 2x 10 tonne gantry cranes – one with a 40m span. Designed to optimise truck access and manoeuvring, with 7.5m roller doors, a full drive-around reinforced concrete yard and semi enclosed breezeway canopy. A 600 m² high-load warehouse mezzanine maximises the warehouse capacity, and the frontage presents a 2-storey fully fitted-out office with an architectural façade. A significant challenge in the design of this build was carefully balancing the warehouse volume and floor area with NZBC firewall requirements and thresholds requiring sprinkler systems. We delivered with a design which fully satisfied the client’s requirements and maximised the ROI.
